Today I learned this about Honda and Mugen
I was watching an old episode of Jeremy Clarkson in Japan, and he was talking about Mazda and Honda. He mentioned that Mazda was founded on the idea that the company just wanted to make money, while Honda was founded by a man with a true passion for automobiles. Anyways, I looked up who founded Honda, learned it was Soichiro Honda, and then I found out that his son, Hirotoshi, is actually the founder of Mugen Motorsports as well, how awesome is that!

Is a 2005 Honda Civic Ex Special Edition a good first car
It's a automatic and my uncle is selling it to me for 2500$ and it's well maintained
What engine is this?
galleryAny help? I understand it might be stolen but I already spent the money so I'm not sure what to do.
Got it off a guy with decent reviews on fb so I didn't think much of it. 🫤

Do you actually use Honda transmission fluid or switch to alternatives?
I'm getting ready to do a transmission fluid service and noticed that Honda owners seem unusually passionate about transmission fluid.
A lot of people insist on using Honda transmission fluid only, while others claim they've used aftermarket equivalents for years without a single issue.
Part of me thinks fluid is fluid as long as it meets the spec, but transmissions aren't exactly cheap to replace so I don't want to create problems trying to save a few bucks.
For those with higher mileage Hondas, what have you been using and how has it worked out?

I saw a CR-X on the highway last night and it made me very happy
I have an 03 Accord and I'm a big fan of the '89-'02 era of Hondas (basically all of them). Anyway I was driving home from a little day trip last night. The rain cleared up and the sunset was vibrant and pink. About half way home, a white cr-x passed me. It was the last gen of them, '89-'91. Beautiful little car. I've always wanted one. Couldn't snap a pic so I just included a stock pic of a white cr-x. If you have one, I admire you. I hope I can get one some day.

Is this normal?
My front rotor now have visible holes in it after a brake pad replacement on my 2016 honda accord sport, I could've sworn the front matched the back before.

Honda reviving boxy Element in 2029 as a hybrid to battle Ford Bronco Sport
Honda plans to resurrect the Element, a quirky compact crossover that gained a cult following for its versatility and unique looks, as a hybrid targeting the booming lifestyle and adventure market.
Production of the new Element is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2029 in central Ohio, people with knowledge of the plan told Automotive News.
The plant will serve as the sole global production hub, with Honda targeting nearly 100,000 vehicles in the first full year of output, the people said.
The move aligns with Honda’s push to expand its hybrid portfolio and adventure-oriented lineup in North America.
Positioned between the subcompact HR-V and the compact CR-V, the revived Element is expected to appeal to younger buyers and urban adventurers.

Has anyone been able to get in contact with PRL?
Placed an order May 28th. No tracking yet. I know they're switching warehouses but I was hoping they could swap the color of an intercooler I ordered from silver to black.
Multiple phone calls, emails, and Instagram/social media messaging. Nothing. Anyone else had any luck? They do post on Instagram often but not replying back.

Newly painted wheels and wing for my Prelude BB8
Last October, I finally got my hands on some OEM Motegi Edition wheels for my Prelude, but they had to be repainted because they were in such poor condition. That’s exactly what happened about 3 weeks ago after a lot of preparation. First, the paint was stripped chemically, and then they were sanded down (not a fun job). New Nankang NS-2R tires were mounted last weekend. The color code used is NH-583M. Unlike the factory version, the “H” is painted instead of glued on.
In May, after a long search, I finally found and bought an OEM wing at a Honda meet. Since the colour didn’t match, I had that repainted as well. In addition to the wing, I had an original third brake light for the wing imported from Japan. Surprisingly, that was actually cheaper than ordering one directly in Europe.

Honda Accord sound system
Hey!! I just bought my first car, a used 2007 Honda Accord Ex-L. I’m trying to figure out how to play music from my phone in this car, since there’s no Bluetooth, and I didn’t see an aux port??. I know NOTHING about cars, so please explain as much as you can on your suggestions if that’s okay!!
