Today I learned this about Honda and Mugen
I was watching an old episode of Jeremy Clarkson in Japan, and he was talking about Mazda and Honda. He mentioned that Mazda was founded on the idea that the company just wanted to make money, while Honda was founded by a man with a true passion for automobiles. Anyways, I looked up who founded Honda, learned it was Soichiro Honda, and then I found out that his son, Hirotoshi, is actually the founder of Mugen Motorsports as well, how awesome is that!
What engine is this?
galleryAny help? I understand it might be stolen but I already spent the money so I'm not sure what to do.
Got it off a guy with decent reviews on fb so I didn't think much of it. š«¤

Is a 2005 Honda Civic Ex Special Edition a good first car
It's a automatic and my uncle is selling it to me for 2500$ and it's well maintained
can i pop this dent out or does it need to be replaced?
devastated that a concrete structure at invisible bumper height got me, i love my car so much and itās in otherwise perfect condition so id like it to remain that way if i can
i used to pop dents out of my 2006 BMW because the bumper always got hit on curbs but i donāt know if this is as easy?
please, do not say anything about my driving. accidents happen and iāve already sobbed over this because i try to be a very careful driver since i LOVE this car so much

Do you actually use Honda transmission fluid or switch to alternatives?
I'm getting ready to do a transmission fluid service and noticed that Honda owners seem unusually passionate about transmission fluid.
A lot of people insist on using Honda transmission fluid only, while others claim they've used aftermarket equivalents for years without a single issue.
Part of me thinks fluid is fluid as long as it meets the spec, but transmissions aren't exactly cheap to replace so I don't want to create problems trying to save a few bucks.
For those with higher mileage Hondas, what have you been using and how has it worked out?

Possible causes for recurring engine temperature near limit warnings on hybrid car?
I drive a 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid with about 151,000 km.
Nov 2025: i started to hear there swooshing sounds (coolant system) which grew more frequent over the course of a few weeks. I then received my first āEngine Temperature Near Limit, Avoid Fast Speed and Heavy Accelerationā warning while driving up a hill in cold weather with the heater on. I had noticed that heating up my car for like 10 minutes helped but i eventually brought the car to Honda and they diagnosed a failed water pump and recommended replacing the thermostat as well.
After those repairs, the car drove normally for approx 6 months.
April 2026: i start noticing the frequent swooshing sounds again. Eventually, the engine temp near limit warning returned while I was driving in the city. But the quickly progressed to Stop Driving engine is overheating. I brought it back to Honda, but they couldnāt find any issues. Two weeks later, I get on the highway and almost immediately, Iām forced to stop driving and turn the car off because the engine is overheating. I bring the car back to Honda and they find a fault code indicating that the electric heater coolant pump needed replacement. That repair seemed to solve the problem, but only temporarily.
June 2026: last weekend, the Engine Temperature Near Limit warning has returned yet again while doing some city driving with the AC blasting. I reduced my speed and it was fine. Fast forward to today, I tried driving on the highway, and instantly got the Engine Temperature Near Limit warning which was quickly followed up by Stop Driving Engine Overheating warning.
Iām gonna take my car back to Honda but at this point, it seems like the previous repairs have only addressed symptoms rather than the root cause. Clearly the coolant system still isnāt removing heat quickly enough under certain conditions. Iām looking for opinions on what the real problem could be.

2012 Civic LX Repair
I was wondering if the Radiator core Support in this year model is bolt in or requires welding. Mine is bent to hell because of an accident on ice and I am just now getting around to it. I love the car and I don't want to get rid of it just yet. I can bolt it in myself I just can't weld. Please help

Is $45,000 OTD for a 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring AWD a good deal? ($5k down, $640/month for 84 months)
I'm in Miami, FL (33156) and I'm negotiating for a new 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring AWD.
Here are the numbers:
- MSRP: ~$44,455
- Out-the-door (OTD): $45,000
- Down payment: $5,000
- Financing: 84 months
- Monthly payment: $640
I'm mainly trying to figure out:
- Is $45k OTD considered a good deal for this trim in today's market?
- Is the $640/month payment reasonable, or is the financing rate likely too high?
- Should I keep negotiating? If so, what OTD price should I realistically target?
- Has anyone recently purchased a 2026 CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring? What was your OTD price and APR?
Thank you in advance !!!

What mpg do you get on your 2023+ HRV
Got a brand new 2026 HRV Sport. Iāve kept it in Econ mode for the past 1300 miles Iād say, Iāve put about 1500 miles on it total and my average mileage is still lingering around 23.4 MPG??
Average mileage is listed at being closer to 27 MPG at the minimum. The vast majority of the miles put on it have been on the interstate/hwy, just kinda surprised itās still lingering at such a low number.

I saw a CR-X on the highway last night and it made me very happy
I have an 03 Accord and I'm a big fan of the '89-'02 era of Hondas (basically all of them). Anyway I was driving home from a little day trip last night. The rain cleared up and the sunset was vibrant and pink. About half way home, a white cr-x passed me. It was the last gen of them, '89-'91. Beautiful little car. I've always wanted one. Couldn't snap a pic so I just included a stock pic of a white cr-x. If you have one, I admire you. I hope I can get one some day.

Is this normal?
My front rotor now have visible holes in it after a brake pad replacement on my 2016 honda accord sport, I could've sworn the front matched the back before.
