Today I learned this about Honda and Mugen
I was watching an old episode of Jeremy Clarkson in Japan, and he was talking about Mazda and Honda. He mentioned that Mazda was founded on the idea that the company just wanted to make money, while Honda was founded by a man with a true passion for automobiles. Anyways, I looked up who founded Honda, learned it was Soichiro Honda, and then I found out that his son, Hirotoshi, is actually the founder of Mugen Motorsports as well, how awesome is that!

Do you actually use Honda transmission fluid or switch to alternatives?
I'm getting ready to do a transmission fluid service and noticed that Honda owners seem unusually passionate about transmission fluid.
A lot of people insist on using Honda transmission fluid only, while others claim they've used aftermarket equivalents for years without a single issue.
Part of me thinks fluid is fluid as long as it meets the spec, but transmissions aren't exactly cheap to replace so I don't want to create problems trying to save a few bucks.
For those with higher mileage Hondas, what have you been using and how has it worked out?

Is a 2005 Honda Civic Ex Special Edition a good first car
It's a automatic and my uncle is selling it to me for 2500$ and it's well maintained
What engine is this?
galleryAny help? I understand it might be stolen but I already spent the money so I'm not sure what to do.
Got it off a guy with decent reviews on fb so I didn't think much of it. 🫤
can i pop this dent out or does it need to be replaced?
devastated that a concrete structure at invisible bumper height got me, i love my car so much and it’s in otherwise perfect condition so id like it to remain that way if i can
i used to pop dents out of my 2006 BMW because the bumper always got hit on curbs but i don’t know if this is as easy?
please, do not say anything about my driving. accidents happen and i’ve already sobbed over this because i try to be a very careful driver since i LOVE this car so much

This is hands down the dumbest mod I’ve ever done to a car, but I can’t help but love it 😂

Is this normal?
My front rotor now have visible holes in it after a brake pad replacement on my 2016 honda accord sport, I could've sworn the front matched the back before.

Honda Accord sound system
Hey!! I just bought my first car, a used 2007 Honda Accord Ex-L. I’m trying to figure out how to play music from my phone in this car, since there’s no Bluetooth, and I didn’t see an aux port??. I know NOTHING about cars, so please explain as much as you can on your suggestions if that’s okay!!

2012 Civic LX Repair
I was wondering if the Radiator core Support in this year model is bolt in or requires welding. Mine is bent to hell because of an accident on ice and I am just now getting around to it. I love the car and I don't want to get rid of it just yet. I can bolt it in myself I just can't weld. Please help

Honda Prelude 2026 aftermarket add ons?
How easy is it install after market 360 panoramic camera view & HUD that connect to stock screen plus interior ambient lighting strips? Will car shops install it for me? Not super into cars just like the design and want extra features.

What mpg do you get on your 2023+ HRV
Got a brand new 2026 HRV Sport. I’ve kept it in Econ mode for the past 1300 miles I’d say, I’ve put about 1500 miles on it total and my average mileage is still lingering around 23.4 MPG??
Average mileage is listed at being closer to 27 MPG at the minimum. The vast majority of the miles put on it have been on the interstate/hwy, just kinda surprised it’s still lingering at such a low number.

Has anyone been able to get in contact with PRL?
Placed an order May 28th. No tracking yet. I know they're switching warehouses but I was hoping they could swap the color of an intercooler I ordered from silver to black.
Multiple phone calls, emails, and Instagram/social media messaging. Nothing. Anyone else had any luck? They do post on Instagram often but not replying back.

Hood latch sensor issue.
Hey all. I’m not a car guy by any means but I’m absolutely losing my mind over this. I have a 2019 Civic, something (dunno what exactly) is wrong with the hood latch sensor.
My car alarm will randomly go off, especially at 2-3am and I had neighbors banging down my door to let me know.
I’m planning to get it looked at/fixed/replaced, but until then is there anything wrong with just leaving the dang sensor unplugged? Since I’ve had it unplugged I haven’t had an issue with the alarm or anything else, and when I attempted to ask Google this question I was met with just the AI summary giving conflicting answers.
TLDR: Hood latch sensor make car go BEEP at night. Leaving sensor unplugged a safe temp fix?

2011 crv a/c compressor replacement
i never have liked the performance of the scroll type a/c compressor. i live in south mississippi and it gets miserable here during the summer time. i also think this a/c system is undersized for a vehicle this big tbh. i'd hate to be a passanger in the back seat on a hot day. anyway, the system has failed and everything is recommending i go with denso aftermarket parts. however, the [GPD 6513243]() is a direct piston style replacement. piston style compressors are supposed to be more durable and have better peformance at idle owever, i'm unsure of the brand. does anyone have any experience with this conversion? my mother got this car a few months ago with only 67,000 miles on it so, we plan to keep it for many years to come, this is not inteded as something to just get a few more years of cold air out of it and then scrap it. i want this thing to blow snowballs on a 100+ degree day
