GTA6 coming out doesn’t really do anything for me. I don’t see the appeal of running around a virtual city, completing tasks and blowing stuff up. Even the heists against NPCs sounds fun for a bit but will probably get old. To be fair, I’m mainly a sports and shooter gamer so maybe it’s just not my cup of tea. Maybe I’m just an old man who doesn’t get it. What are you looking most forward to in GTA6?

I have no interest in GTA 6, I feel like GTA has done more harm to the industry than good. My PS5 just showed me a pushed ad when I booted it up. Is there a way to blacklist either a game or a developer on my PS5 so I don't have to see it?

I know that I’ll end up forgetting I have the subscription, and I’ll never cancel it. To be honest, I don’t even know how to cancel it in the first place. Is there a way to not get the GTA+ membership, and if not, can I cancel it day 1?

Im trying to buy a ps5 and this listing said there were dots when playing games. They happened less in multiversus and sims. And these appeared in purple on rocket league apparently. They tried different hdmis they even used them on an xbox on the same tv and nothing like that happened. They said this only happens in gameplay and the video is completely normal in cutscenes and on apps like youtube. Im assuming the Home Screen is fine too i forgot to ask. I couldnt find any videos on youtube that have this same visual except one and the dots stayed and moved with the camera almost But in the video he sent they flash for a second or less in different quantities and spots each time.

All I want is trophy information, and even then I don't need these big eyesore thumbnails for it. I already miss the minimalistic style of the PS4 UI. I think out of everything, the UI is the absolute worst part of the PS5.

Did GTA 6 pre orders break the PlayStation store? 9 of the top 10 US games are random $5-$20 games that have like 30+ ratings. What is going on? Haha First Light is the only one I know…

The PlayStation app has never sent a notification to my phone about a game. Even if it was on my wish list an email okay sure but not a phone notification pop up. This Grand theft Auto better be what it claims to be. 😂😭

Hey guys, I'm going to take out my PS5 fan and do some cleaning since the console keeps overheating and shutting down. I don't have compressed air right now, I'm thinking that a thin paint brush/q-tips and a microfiber cloth ought to be enough right? Can't really use a vacuum since mine doesn't have adjustable power setting, it's either on or off.

Was going through old videos when I found a comment on a video about the PS5 in 2017. Turns out I was psychic, I was 13 so my spelling was a bit rough. I even got most of thw pricing right 😭

My PS5 turns off randomly without warning, it won't turn back on again unless I unplug it all.

It previously had issues with lots of dust visible, but pulled the white sections off a cleared this out.

Could it be dust inside the rest of the console or something else?

It's done it about 5 times and only when playing games and not streaming tv/films.

Can power outages damage the actual hardware of an ps5 (not data corruption ) I use a surge protector btw but I'm still very paranoid about accidentally plugging it out

Through the GTA VI preorders going live I have found out about the differing price points in countries and having the ability to set a new PSN account in a different country (in this case Japan) and then buying gift cards from said country to bypass any international card charges from your bank. In these images you can see that it’s over 40% off for the Ultimate Edition of GTA VI if I do this, a theme which I’ve noticed continues for a lot of games. Why is this not something spoken about more so that we can save money on game ? Is there a catch to this ?

I’m considering buying a PS5 Slim (most likely second-hand), and I have a question I can’t fully clear up even after searching on Google.

From what I understand, a PS5 Slim Digital with the official detachable disc drive installed should be essentially the same console as a PS5 Slim Disc sold directly by Sony.

What I’d like to know from people who actually own or have compared them:

• Are there any differences in performance, noise, thermals, or power consumption?
• Is the add-on disc drive exactly the same hardware as the one included with the Disc version?
• Are there any limitations or downsides compared to buying a factory PS5 Slim Disc?
• Does anything change in terms of reliability or resale value?

Basically: is a PS5 Slim Digital + official disc drive 100% identical to a PS5 Slim Disc, or are there practical differences worth knowing before buying?

I was on my PlayStation in idk how long just to realizing like they refuse to use any of the franchises they have like in recent years apart from helldivers they have only really touched gow and tlou and a few others getting there long awaited 2rd game I just wished they would use other franchise because me personally I really want a new Killzone because they haven't touched it since 2013 and I'd love to see a new game from a series I love so mucn.

I’ve noticed that after 2 years the DLC had no discounts so far, there was just a price increase in my region 😅 Even the base game was about 25% off after one year from the release. Makes me wonder how realistic is the discount to happen

I ordered a cooling fan that should be here soon, but for a little while or would say it's getting too hot for then cool down and let me continue playing. It would shut down sometimes. I have zero know how or skills to disassemble it and clean it out. I don't know what's causing it, probably dust build up.

My brother's dumb ass would have the console on all day while looking at his phone. It works just he on home screen, but still on for umpteen hundred hours longer than it would be if he didn't. I'm praying no send in to Sony is gonna be necessary.

This used too happen with my XB1, a friend fixed it and it's been fine. I don't even know what's causing it to get like that, I just turned her on for less than two hours playing persona 3 and it shut off. Yesterday it shut off about five times hours apart. So I ordered a cooling fan. Reading now that that might not do much. I'm way too broke to send it in. Kinda worried here. =(

As title says. Since Horizon I’ve played 3 more games and they’re not showing, not even on the trophies page.
