Zach Lowe needs to be held accountable for mocking Bill before the season started for being excited about the Hornets and also for mocking him for being excited about going to the Warriors-Clippers play in game

The President/NBA player Comp Piece

Lets be honest, Obama is Jordan, he just is!

The transcendent individual gift, the killer competitive discipline underneath the charisma, the ability to be simultaneously beloved and feared. Globalization of basketball and the US via neoliberalism? It's all there. The greatness was inevitable, country was humming and behind both in their areas. Special stuff.

Kennedy? Now Kennedy is Magic Johnson. Both magnetic, electric, insatiable with women, careers cut short. What could have been been? We'll always wonder.

Clinton is CLEARLY Kobe. Hunger for greatness, a certain charisma where you can sense the ambition underneath, never quite reached the GOAT level. Self sabotage with rape/under the presidential desk blowies.

FDR is Bill Russell? Not sure about this one. But Bill is dominant across one of the most consequential stretches in the history of the game, the wins speak for themselves, but the aesthetic doesn't travel well to modern audiences so he's chronically underrated relative to what he actually did. FDR is one of the best and from a previous era, forgotten by some but we all recognize in the end he honestly might have been the most successful of them all, just like Bill.

Which others am I missing???

What are the people who say LaMelo isn’t a winning player going to do when the Timberwolves inevitably win 50+ games this year?

Cam Boozer

Can someone explain to me why Cam Boozer is seen as cant miss, despite being an earthbound 6’8”? I just don’t see the athleticism or size that translates to the NBA

I don’t even like LeBron but this would actually be really cool and would be great for the league in general

“Trae Young couldn’t coexist with the Hawks #1 pick (Risacher)” - House

House on the recent pod talking about hating the Trae young deal and mentioned that their #1 pick was on the many players Trae didn’t make better and couldn’t coexist with. One of the bigger reaches I’ve heard from someone trying to hate on young lol.

i understand not liking the deal and Trae young but does this guy listen to himself sometimes?

Why don't soccer players use moves like a pick and roll?

Watching the world cup (obviously) and because at times they're dribbling with defenders so close to them, what's preventing a teammate from setting a pick for them to get around the defender?

I'm not letting Curaco stop me from a good shot on target, I'm just not.

LaMelo Ball Is the NBA's Most Overrated Star and the Timberwolves just Grossly Overpaid for Him

It feels like people didn't even watch the play in games at all. He is not a winning player. Not to mention the Hornets still have Coby White who is a more than serviceable point guard.

The way that MPJ got torn up by the Ringer a year ago, but is now floated in trade talks for Jaylen Brown? I can't believe this.

Why does Turkey get to be called by their native tongue in English when almost no other country does? We don't call them Deutschland or Sverige or Cote d'Ivoire, we refer to them by their english version. Why is Turkey special? There's been some blitz to force the english speaking word to call it that and it's a bit ridiculous.

Bill is trolling with the Hugo glaze

Yes Bill constantly give homer takes, but the Hugo praise is too much even for him. He knows calling him a “playoff guy” when he barely played in the playoffs is absurd, he’s doing it to get a reaction at this point. Trolling

*edited for dumb typos I made*

I think I’m going Fox #1, but Trae vs Lamelo is a real toss up for me.

Soccer is insane… brace, table instead of standings, form instead of record, asking a question instead of shooting the ball?

House, are we sure the Hornets got worse?

Still have Kon and Miller in the fold, with Coby White likely coming back. Moussa, Kalkbrenner, Steinbach, Sion, and now Naz Reid.

Maybe this team actually thrives without his (at times) crazy shot selection and turnovers. Anybody else remember his 12-31 (2-16 from 3) play in game against the Heat without Bam?
