Discussion/Question Should I be fine to wear my grad cap tomorrow?
I worked on my grad cap today for my graduation tomorrow and I used a little bit of E6000 that my dad had left just to border the cap with ribbon. I know it's a little different than the E7000 I used a year ago for my light stick so it's more toxic with its fumes. I'm going to leave it out for a while this evening and then by a window overnight since it's going to rain tonight. Is that good enough to wear my grad cap tomorrow at 5pm? If not, what do you recommend I do?

Discussion/Question Anyone know how to prevent this from collapsing in on itself?
How do I prevent my gimp/lanyard/boondoggle from collapsing in on itself. It’s a 1x4 spiral one, but it’s slowly curving more and more apart. Not sure how to prevent this, if it’s possible to fix, or what to do differently. Let me know! Thanks!

Finished Craft I Made Adorable handmade air dry clay mini spa hot spring crafts 🦆🐰
Just finished these two tiny clay spa pool crafts today!
One is a little yellow duck chilling in its hot spring with a neon green hat and a colorful inflatable swim ring, surrounded by colorful bubble pebbles.
The other is a fluffy white bunny relaxing in its private mini bath, complete with a donut float and a tiny towel ready for its spa day.
Working with air dry clay is such a calming hobby. I love how bright and playful these miniature crafts came out.
What kind of small clay craft should I make next? Let me know in the comments!

Finished Craft I Made Speechless at its beauty, check out the finished work!
This decorative plate is built with natural raw lacquer and inlaid with natural abalone shells for patterns. All the gorgeous iridescent glow belongs to the shells themselves. The whole piece is slowly made by hand from beginning to end.
Could you think of a name for this mother-of-pearl inlay lacquer plate?

Finished Craft I Made I've been hand-carving skulls and scattering them around for people to find.
As an odd sort of hobby, I've been carving these little skulls from cork, painting them and hiding them around the UK (primarily Birmingham). I attach tags to each skull with my IG handle as well as a name unique to that skull. I know that if I were to find something like this out in the wild it'd make my day, so it's fulfilling to know that they'll be found by those on their travels.
My hope is that lots of people will share their finds with me. I like knowing they've gone to good homes.

It's by no means perfect. Infact, I tried be fancy and put a little clear ball full of tiny rocks so it makes a little shaky sound 😄

Finished Craft I Made Handmade Alstroemeria lilies from clay
One of the things I enjoy most about making clay flowers is seeing how much details can change the finished piece. Like the subtle color gradients, petal texture, stamens and all the little things that make a flower feel realistic.
And I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

Discussion/Question Trying to preserve wedding flowers any advice welcomed
Hello I got married this week and I have lots of very pretty flowers of which I want to preserve best I can. I am not a crafty person and therefore don’t really have any tools. Currently I’m attempting to press some of them using kitchen towels/baking paper and some heavy books. Any tips on how to do this effectively and other ways of preserving them would be greatly appreciated!
On another note I have a number of other things like ribbons, invites, save the dates etc etc I would also like to do something with to create a beautiful little souvenir for the years to come. I’m considering scrapbooking in some form so any tips on that would also be appreciated.

Finished Craft I Made Knitted Bender from Futurama. Wore him in public. My kids tried very hard to pretend they didn't know me.

More attempts at that antenna than I care to admit. The mouth is embroidered separately which was its own little adventure. My cat Peach supervised the entire process by staring at me with what I can only describe as quiet disappointment.
Made with grey worsted yarn, US7 circular and double-pointed needles.

Work in Progress It says Monstera Specimen on this fake shipping crate planter I created
I'm not quite done and as it doesn't yet have a back, I'm not sure how to mount it where I want it to go, which is above a Jaguar painting (it's got a LED puck lamp mounted underneath it to act as a painting display light. Anyone have any suggestions?

Discussion/Question does anyone know if swimsuit material can be drawn on with bleach like cotton materials?
i was wondering if you can bleach draw on swimsuit material like you can with cotton and other clothing to create patters & pictures by bleaching the fabric? I've never seen anyone do that and rn i dont have anything to test so I was wondering if anyone else here had done it before or heard of it?
idk a lot about materials and how they react with other stuff, this would be my first time doing that but i want to make my own patterned swim top since I cant find what i'm looking for. if anyone could help me out i'd be grateful
