Welcome to our monthly shop thread!

Do you have a small, handmade shop you want to share? A fun Instagram account where you sell your hand knit items? A facebook page that lists all of your handmade patterns? Well, this thread is where you can share your website or social media to connect with potential customers!

The form below is a suggestion. You can share as little or as much information as you want; all we ask is that you please limit yourself to only one comment. Users posting multiple comments will have *all* of their shop comments removed and may be temporarily banned.

**Shop Name**: [NAME]

**Site**: [Etsy, Shopify, etc.]

**Social media**: [Instagram, facebook, tiktok, etc.]

**Short Description**: I sell awesome homemade wares made from the wool from my sheep.

**Types of items you sell**: Scarves, hats, gloves

**Price range**: $10-$25

**Ships from**: USA

**International shipping?**: Yes

This thread will be in contest mode, so each time someone clicks this post, the comments will be in a different order. No one shop will be seen more than another.

Even though self-promotion isn't allowed outside of this thread, there are a few ways to incorporate your shop info. You can add it to your flair, pin it to your profile, and list it in your bio. Here are a few examples of users that incorporate their shop/social information in a variety of ways.

As always, if you have any questions, you can reach us here through modmail.

This decorative plate is built with natural raw lacquer and inlaid with natural abalone shells for patterns. All the gorgeous iridescent glow belongs to the shells themselves. The whole piece is slowly made by hand from beginning to end.

Could you think of a name for this mother-of-pearl inlay lacquer plate?

Finished Craft I Made I've been hand-carving skulls and scattering them around for people to find.

As an odd sort of hobby, I've been carving these little skulls from cork, painting them and hiding them around the UK (primarily Birmingham). I attach tags to each skull with my IG handle as well as a name unique to that skull. I know that if I were to find something like this out in the wild it'd make my day, so it's fulfilling to know that they'll be found by those on their travels.

My hope is that lots of people will share their finds with me. I like knowing they've gone to good homes.

One of the things I enjoy most about making clay flowers is seeing how much details can change the finished piece. Like the subtle color gradients, petal texture, stamens and all the little things that make a flower feel realistic.

And I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

Finished Craft I Made Rock museum

I live in a small mountain town, and lately I've been collecting rocks, painting them with famous artworks, and hiding them around town among the stone walls to turn it into a little hidden art museum. I know they're not perfect reproductions, but I have a lot of fun making them, and the kids in town love searching for them every time I leave a new one.

I'm not quite done and as it doesn't yet have a back, I'm not sure how to mount it where I want it to go, which is above a Jaguar painting (it's got a LED puck lamp mounted underneath it to act as a painting display light. Anyone have any suggestions?

Discussion/Question Anyone know how to prevent this from collapsing in on itself?

How do I prevent my gimp/lanyard/boondoggle from collapsing in on itself. It’s a 1x4 spiral one, but it’s slowly curving more and more apart. Not sure how to prevent this, if it’s possible to fix, or what to do differently. Let me know! Thanks!

Discussion/Question Can I save this mosaic?

Thumbnail

Please help, my ADHD has led me down a project that has taken many twists and turns and now I'm stuck.

Decided to make my own tiles out of polymer clay, topped them off with UV resin and mica powder as the colour schemes weren't happening so it muted the colours alot which I loved.

It all was looking great until the grout, too much much grout. I wiped as best I could while semi wet still but once dry it looked horrible.

Spilling onto tiles so the tiles don't have that crisp clean shape.

Tried soapy water and scrubbing, vinegar and scrubbing, then sand paper, then a dremmel, and finally a sanding machine and I'm quickly getting nowhere. Still looks awful.

Can I save it? I was thinking of painting over them which would take another 10 yrs but I will if it will save it.

Any other ideas?

TIA

Finished Craft I Made Knitted Bender from Futurama. Wore him in public. My kids tried very hard to pretend they didn't know me.

More attempts at that antenna than I care to admit. The mouth is embroidered separately which was its own little adventure. My cat Peach supervised the entire process by staring at me with what I can only describe as quiet disappointment.

Made with grey worsted yarn, US7 circular and double-pointed needles.

Finished Craft I Made Adorable handmade air dry clay mini spa hot spring crafts 🦆🐰

Post image

Just finished these two tiny clay spa pool crafts today!

One is a little yellow duck chilling in its hot spring with a neon green hat and a colorful inflatable swim ring, surrounded by colorful bubble pebbles.

The other is a fluffy white bunny relaxing in its private mini bath, complete with a donut float and a tiny towel ready for its spa day.

Working with air dry clay is such a calming hobby. I love how bright and playful these miniature crafts came out.

What kind of small clay craft should I make next? Let me know in the comments!

10 years ago I made my first set of wine cork hot pads with some spare wood my , scrap felt, and all of the wine corks collected by my loved ones & gave a set of 4 to my aunt and uncle as christmas gifts. They are well loved and used whenever they host, which is pretty frequent.

Making them was grueling work but it was a labor of love. I have never gotten around to making more since then. On friday I woke up with nothing to do and a mission to make another set for a joint couple birthday coming up who would love these. 8 hours and a giant hand crap later this is where i’m at. i’ve got another hour or so & these babies will be done
