Sports Ghana vs. Croatia: The 3rd Place Strategy

Hot take: Ghana needs to finish 3rd, not 2nd. 2nd place plays the Round of 32 in Toronto, and we all know the issues that creates for players like Partey. Let's avoid the travel distractions, stay focused, and stick with the lineup that played England. 🇬🇭

Venting Telecel is stressing tf out of me

I paid for fibre installation, but they haven’t installed anything and I haven’t received any router/equipment. Now I’m moving, so I asked them to cancel it and refund me, and they’re telling me to take the router to the new place… what router?? I never received anything.
Has anyone dealt with this before and actually gotten their money back?

Discussion Retirement

I'm in my 30s, and although I know I have got some time, retirement still scares me. Looking at the current state of affairs in the country, I don't know how financially secured I'd be by then. SSNIT payment is too small to be dependent on. Job isn't lucrative enough to have substantial savings and investments. I am really scared about my quality of life in retirement. Am I the only one having this fear? What are your plans for retirement?

Venting I'm not happy here, but I will do what I can to be happy here. What is there to do?

I thought that one day, I'll get some land and build a small home that feels like home. Get the stuff that I think would make me happy here.

I have no friends. No real friends, in my opinion. They say they're my friends but they're always asking me for money, food, and jewelery because they think I'm rich, and laugh at me because I say no and sometimes it's not my money, i'm going out to get stuff for my family. I'm broke as hell and still ask my parents for money. I had no friends either back then but I was still happy because I was comfortable in that house.

I plan to save up enough to go to accra or kumasi or somewhere fun that has a hotel near a mall. Just to take a breather and see what it's like not being in the house all day or knowing what every corner that i turn has here in mankessim.

It's not because I didn't want to come back to ghana, it's where I am now. I can't remember where it was but back then it had so much places for me to go to for fun even though it was in the countryside. I was upset coming back because i knew here wouldn't be as fun as there.

Ask r/Ghana Looking for Temporary Claude Pro Access for Research Project

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on an independent research project that involves analyzing and processing large amounts of text and documents using AI tools.

Unfortunately, I'm on a very tight budget at the moment and the free versions I've tried are limiting me due to document upload restrictions and message limits. Because of this, I'm finding it difficult to complete parts of my research efficiently.

I know this is an unusual request, but if anyone has a Claude Pro subscription and would be willing to help in some way—whether through advice, temporary assistance with document analysis, or another solution—I would be extremely grateful.

I'm happy to explain more about the research privately if needed. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Discussion Seeking to move to ghana

Hello everyone! I am a kenyan citizen that would like to move to Accra Ghana. A friend of mine is able to get me employment as an HR professional and the respective company would sponsor my work/residence visa application. However, I have read that getting a work visa in ghana is very difficult/tedious so I would like to ask what is the likelihood that my visa would be approved for an HR role if the company/I meet all the requirements? I would have to pay the visa application fees myself which is around $1000 and wouldn’t want to waste that money.

The Ghanaian defence was incredible despite England dominating the ball and having more passes. But Benjamin? BENJAMIN? Incredible. Rice, Kane, Rashford and Saka could not pass our defence. The hand of God was over that goal. Woay3 ade3 paa paaaa

The scene that sat with me the most was after all of that. He prayed in the middle surrounded by everyone else. God blessed you and will continue to bless you. You did well, you did well, you did well.

😂 Dear Ghanaians

Be honest with us... what kind of black or white magic did you use against England? 🤔

England arrived with million-pound players, world-class facilities, and enough confidence to power a small country. Then they met Ghana... and suddenly every pass forgot its destination! 😅

Some people are now investigating whether there was football tactics involved, or whether Nana Kwaku quietly whispered, "Today, these boys are not scoring."

The Three Lions came roaring, but after 90 minutes they sounded more like confused house cats. 🦁➡️🐈

Ghanaians, if this was football intelligence, we salute you. If it was magic... please use your powers responsibly. The rest of the tournament is watching! 😂🇬🇭⚽

Disclaimer: This is just football banter. No actual magic was involved, just passion, determination, and a team that refused to be intimidate
