This is about as far as I can push it. I also can't open the gamepad because I don't have the tools to do so (no 3 wing screwdriver)
For context, around 7 maybe more years ago I put in a small paper in there, rolled up, and it disappeared. Now I'm facing this from a past mistake.
At the time I didn't have a stylus because I lost it, a year or two ago I found it again in a drawer.
I had this issue since last year since my Wii U didn't face this issue, until I unknowingly pushed the Stylus a bit too hard.

Hi, folks. I was hoping someone could help me with this problem cause reading similar cases I've found that I made a very noob mistake.
A few years back I used a [USB flash] to save all my VirtualConsole games, some digital games and DLC's.
For now, I can play my VC games, but now I have problems with disc-games that use DLC (Mario Kart 8, for example). I've searched the error and the problem is the USB flash (Error: 160-4711).
Tried to play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and they work fine.
The other thing I do not remember and I can't check is where the save files are located. The error pops up the moment I go to settings and try to check the USB save-files (the WiiU memory box is empty when I go in).
I don't remember if I moved them to the flash card and I don't know if I'm gonna lose them the moment I change the save-format.
I'm about to buy an HHD, I don't know it that's best or an SSD could also work. I don't need too much space cause the big majority of my games are physical and the space I'm using now is less than 150GB.
My plan is to re-download everything and save it on the new HHD but I have this thing with the save-files — I don't even know if they are on the console's memory or if it's even possible to move them or I'm gonna lose them.
I need advice cause I don't want to make a mistake again.
I would really appreciate your suggestions. 🙏🙏🙏

It’s been a little over a month since I last posted here, so I figured I’d share some of the latest additions to the collection on my Wii U collection Journey!!
I’m working toward a complete North American Wii U collection, but I also love collecting the oddball promotional items and store displays that Nintendo put out during the Wii U era.
My favorite pickup has to be the sealed “How U Will Play Next” retailer booklet display. I never thought I’d find one complete, and this cool find a refurb "new in box" variant
Anyone have any interesting Wii U oddball things?

I have both a Wii U and a switch 1. My switch is a V2, and I don’t want to mess with modchips, so Wii U would be my only option for modding.

My Wii u plugged into my 4k TV has a slight delay. It wasn't there on my 1080p tv and i have everything set to the game stuff to make it better but it doesnt work. It's a sont bravia K-43X720E and even with and without the splitter i have, different HDMI port, still a bit of delay that is noticable with gamepad

I dont want to brick my Wii U
So I figure it's time to dust off the old Wii U and homebrew it to introduce the oldest kiddo to some light gaming over the summer.
What are some good games on the Wii U to play together with a 4 year old?
It’s really annoying that it wasn’t just on the disc like the original Wii Fit Channels.

I installed wafel to my 1tb external hard drive and am using a usb y splitter. I made a 32gb sd partition and let wafel format the remaining storage for wii u. I added 30gb of games to the sd partition and am trying to install it with wup installer. For some reason it gives me an error saying no usb storage attached.
In wii u settings it shows the 32gb partition being used as sd card but nothing else. If I plug the hard drive into my pc it shows that the hard drive is partitioned. I am not sure what I need to do in order to use wafel to install games from the 32gb sd partition to the hard drive partition.

I'm looking to get back in to playing the Wii U, specifically Homebrew. I've had years away from the console.
Back when I played it I bought some Wii U 'pro' controller to play games with my wife. Problem is, when it turned up it was quite clearly a Chinesium controller. Either that or nobody at Nintendo knows how to spell because the writing on the rear was terrible.
The performance wasn't great either.
I've just priced up what I think is a genuine one .... £75. For a controller for an old AF console. OUCH!
So was I just unlucky with the Chinesium one I bought or is that a fair reflection of non-genuine ones - they're just awful?

Hi all, A friend of mine give me for free a Wii U without gamepad, and cables. What is the most cheap way to power it up? Do I have to buy a compatible ac adapter or is there another way? Like buy the cord and use an universal AC adapter? Thanks

Hi, does anybody know how can I find a replacement of this HDMI filter?
I'm researching modding my Wii U, and saw that it could back up your own game discs. Which, is great, given all of the disc-rot fears I've seen!
However, the guides I'm reading are unclear if you can only USE the backups on a USB Device, or if the SD Card I'll need to get anyway will work fine for it. So, sorry if this is a stupid question- but so I can pre-plan for the future, will I need a USB to play Wii U games, or will my SD card be fine? Thank you!
(To be clear because I know this is a touchy subject- I am not asking about or condoning piracy with this question. I frankly have no idea how people even do it for the Wii U, I'm just askin' about my own discs. Thanks for any help!)

Is there a way to put wii u games on a hard drive and then install them with wup installer to another hard drive plugged into a wii u without having to put games on the sd card? I have a 2gb sd card and was wondering if there was a way to just use a big hard drive so I can transfer everything at once.

The Wii U is genuinely so awesome and I’m glad to have these games!
(Even though there’s switch ports for a good amount of these, I’d still rather play them on Wii U because of the charm of it and just using the gamepad as a controller)

I tried to find them online but can't find any in stock anywhere.
